Internal Awareness Point AwA*
This internal contact point is the outward-facing part of our Awareness concept.
We follow our principles as well as the Awareness Standards.

AwA* has an internal Awareness contact point.
An internal contact point for AwA* means: people can submit feedback regarding non-compliance with agreements or standards within the Awareness work, as well as any kind of boundary-crossing behaviour by persons associated with AwA*.
The internal Awareness contact point of AwA* has a two-part structure:
AwA* Direct:
There is a group of 4 people from AwA* you can contact.
In coordination with your needs and wishes, and only with your explicit consent, they can take over communication with the rest of the collective:
If something comes up, they bring it to the next collective meeting, where it is discussed who will take it on (in terms of capacity, resources, personal relationships to the person(s) involved, etc.)

awaGraz as an independent oversight body:
There is also a part of the contact point made up of people from awaGraz, an Awareness collective based in Graz.
You can reach out specifically to this group if you have feedback and/or criticism you do not want to share with anyone from the AwA* collective, or if the concern involves someone from the inner circle of the collective. awaGraz will take it on and offer you support.

To ensure that people who reach out to AwA*’s internal contact point get the support they need, we have decided to build this two-part structure: it is designed to ensure that there are trusted persons who are not in positions of power and who can provide support in internal and external conflicts and decide how violence and discrimination are addressed.

In addition to the two options mentioned above, there is also the option of submitting feedback about violations of the standards via the Awareness Standards website.
