It is only a community if everyone can feel comfortable!

Public space is for everyone, so we also ask for a shared, supportive approach to one another and to these places. Together, we can create a mindful city!

Additionally, you can get trash bags, FFP2 masks, informational material, water, hygiene products, ear protection, or other useful items from us.

The awareness teams in public spaces are a group of people who have primarily provided support at parties and in clubs. With funding from the City of Vienna (MA13), the awareness teams can be found this summer every Friday and Saturday, as well as before holidays, in the evenings until around 4 AM at the Donaukanal, Karlsplatz, and, as needed, mobilized around the Ring.

The awareness team is mobile and there for you in situations where …
… you feel overwhelmed.
… you don’t want to or can’t intervene yourself.
… you feel uncomfortable for any reason.
… someone discriminates against you or treats you badly – for example, being racist, sexually harassing you, or being verbally or physically aggressive.

Take care of yourselves and others!

• Respect everyone’s needs and boundaries.
• Support others and ask if you think someone might need help.
• If you’re unsure whether someone wants something or not – ask!
