If you have specific questions about participating in the workshops or need certain prerequisites/support in order to participate, please write to us and we will see how we can accommodate you.

Participation on a donation basis

We currently do not receive any funding for our public educational offerings. In order to enable all interested parties to participate and to cover our costs for the workshops, we offer solidarity-based, sliding-scale suggestions for participation fees on a donation basis. Please base your contribution on the following recommendation according to workshop length:

Regular: € 24/hour – if you are doing well financially

Reduced: € 12/hour – if you are on a tight budget

Solidarity option: pay as you can – if you have (almost) no money

The donation options serve as a guide. You can also choose amounts between the suggestions, e.g. € 16/hour.

An average donation of €12 per hour per person covers our costs for 15 participants.

AwA* is recognised as a non-profit organisation. Donations to AwA* are therefore tax deductible. Important information about donations

Any donations that exceed the amount needed to cover our costs will be used to subsidise workshops and educational activities that generate less income.

Much of the work done at AwA* is voluntary and often based on solidarity.

Please get in touch even if you do not have any money, and please do not see the suggested donation as a financial barrier, as everyone should be able to participate in the workshop regardless of their financial means.
